Frequently asked questions
- 01
You can always find even cheaper manufacturers in China. Price alone, however, is rarely the deciding factor in a successful eyewear brand. With this said, we still believe our quotation is competitive and well within a reasonable range.
What truly matters is how your product is made and how the process is managed. We focus on seamless communication, proactive service, and a deep understanding of both eyewear manufacturing and branding. That means fewer misunderstandings, faster problem-solving, and products that align with your brand vision, not just technical specifications.
We don’t simply produce frames; we act as a manufacturing partner who understands materials, quality control, timelines, and how design details translate into a finished product that represents your brand in the market. For brands that value reliability, clarity, transparency, and long-term consistency over short-term cost savings, we provide far greater value than a low-price-only supplier.
- 02
We are not a sourcing company. We operate through manufacturing joint ventures and long-term, trusted supply-chain partners with full transparency. When you work with us, you are doing business directly with us—this is reflected in all contracts, documentation, and invoices. Our production lines are always open for inspection, and we do not simply outsource your orders or earn commissions from random factories. We take full responsibility for quality, execution, and results.
- 03
Our MOQ starts around 300 PCs per SKU; it is also subject to project complexity and the materials applied. Contact us for more details.
- 04
We see our clients as long-term partners, not one-time transactions. All products we manufacture come with ongoing, indefinite after-sales support. If issues arise with workmanship, materials, or production-related quality, our team will work with you to provide solutions—whether that’s technical support, replacement parts, rework guidance, or future production improvements.
We view recurring orders and long-term cooperation as the true measure of our success. Our goal is to grow alongside our partners by continuously supporting their product quality, market feedback, and future collections.
- 05
As opposed to being a white-label wholesaler, Begood does not have a ready-to-go catalogue or product book. All of our products are exclusively made for our clients. This also means that you wouldn't find anything entirely the same in the market. When you choose to work with us, you have full control and ownership of everything we've made for you.
- 06
Absolutely. And we'd be glad to comply with any compliance request(s).

We understand the pressure tariffs are putting on U.S. brands—we’re navigating the same environment alongside our clients. Through our established logistics network, we’re able to keep quotations competitive while minimising customs complications. We offer door-to-door delivery solutions, so unlike traditional FOB terms, you don’t have to handle import paperwork yourself or face unexpected tariff exposure. Our goal is to provide cost clarity, smoother delivery, and fewer surprises from production to arrival.
- 08
We do not produce lenses directly, but we provide a full range of lens options through our trusted partners. These include default clean lenses, prescription lenses (primarily reading lenses), as well as sunglasses lenses with various colours, coatings, and performance options. We can help you select the right lens solution to match your product and market needs.
- 09
We do not own production lines outside China, nor do we have the same depth of long-term partnerships as we do within China. That said, we can offer alternative production options—primarily in Vietnam—when specific circumstances require it. However, we are transparent in advising that these alternatives may involve trade-offs in quality consistency, technical capability, and lead times compared to our core manufacturing network. We always recommend the solution that best protects the integrity of your product and brand.

We sign NDAs with most of our clients, and we believe it wouldn’t be appropriate to compromise their confidentiality or production details. Protecting our clients’ interests always comes first. That said, for quality reference and execution standards, you’re welcome to review our in-house brand, Atelier Cerruti, showcased in the portfolio section of our website, which reflects the same manufacturing standards we apply to client projects

Quality assurance is a core part of our manufacturing process. Our standard QC procedures on the production line include:
Manual specification measurements
Hinge fatigue testing
Drop tests
Sweat and water resistance tests
Lens inspection and verification (If applicable)
In addition to these in-line quality checks, our QC specialists conduct sampling inspections for every production batch before shipment to ensure consistency and compliance with agreed specifications.
We also accommodate any additional testing or quality requirements requested by our clients. We take quality assurance very seriously and continuously refine our QC standards to ensure every shipment meets expectations.

Eyewear is our core focus and primary expertise. However, thanks to our established manufacturing capabilities in acetate, injection molding, and metalwork—supported by advanced CNC equipment, various metal laser and punching machines, and an experienced technical team—we are open to discussing other product categories. If your project is partially or even completely outside of eyewear, we’re still open to explore whether our capabilities are a good fit.
- 13
